Yes, the company is finally launching an automatic version of their popular Prince Pearl. The news has been making rounds on social media. ProPakistani reached out to dealerships and they have confirmed the news.
You might be under the impression that a dealership in Islamabad pre-booked their vehicles. The rumors must be false, though. They plan on notifying people when they start.
It’s not clear when Regal will release the new Pearl model, but it should happen next month. The company hasn’t yet disclosed the price or the deposit for reservations, so we’ll find out more information when it debuts next month.
Details and Expected Price:
The new Pearl is a small hatchback that competes with cars like the United Bravo and the Suzuki Alto. At just under 12 feet, it’s about 3 feet shorter than those two models. But it doesn’t sacrifice in engine size: The Pearl Automatic will have the same naturally aspirated 796cc three-cylinder petrol engine as those other models, producing 40 hp and 60 Nm of torque. Unlike Bravo and Alto, it will use an auto gearbox instead of a manual, making it more economical.
Like the rest of the car’s features, Pearl will keep its power windows, air-conditioning, LCD-based infotainment unit, USB connectivity, alloy rims, and DRLs.
The manual version of Prince Pearl will have an airbag as an optional extra from the start. It is safe to assume that in the automatic variant, this feature will be standard. Nissan has not announced the price for the car yet; however, the market speculates that it will have a price tag of Rs 1.5 million.
The addition of an automatic variant is likely going to boost sales for this model as well.
