IPL 2022 Opening Ceremony: Fans say ‘kya karoge paise bachakar’ due to This reason

You can watch the opening ceremonies for this year’s Indian Premier League on Saturday, March 26.
The opening match will take place between defending champions Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders.
Fans of IPL 2022, don’t worry: There will be an opening ceremony for you guys as well, but it won’t be this year.

The IPL 2022 is going to be bigger than ever. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) anticipates a windfall from the media rights sale of the tournament, as two new teams are coming on board.

Lucknow Super Giants and Gujarat Titans will be included in the mix for this season, and the BCCI expects to get more money due to the additions.

If the reports are true, the BCCI has apparently done away with their opening ceremony and the decision has evoked mixed reactions on Twitter.
There have been mixed reactions to the decision by the BCCI to cancel a third successive IPL. Some people are lauding the BCCI for making the right call, but the majority of critics argue that it was a foolish decision that killed all the fun and did not do enough to make the tournament more appealing.

This year will be the fourth time in a row that the IPL has started without the grand opening ceremony it’s seen in years past. The BCCI eliminated the tradition for the 2019 edition.

Cricket fans everywhere will be thrilled to know that the IPL 2022 has announced that Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, and Pune will be opening up 25% of their stadiums from March 26.
